# Twin's first birthday cake smash event – capturing the poignant memories

We were double excited. It was time to shoot another cake smash event, and as you know, we always look forward to these photoshoots. We simply love photographing kids as they taste the first cake. This time, it was Shane and Caiden's first birthday. Their parents wanted to celebrate the event by having a cake-smashing album. We were very eager to meet the twins and made different plans to make the photo session memorable.

## **Cake smashing photoshoot of Shane and Caide**
Shane and Caiden are adorable. They entered our Glasgow studio with their big blue eyes filled with wonder. They silently checked out our camera, the sets, and even us. We were happy to have them amongst us. We had already decided to have a simple but cute theme for their album. Shane and Caiden wore powder blue tees along with shorts. To match their outfit, we created a blue set decorated with balloons. We added a faux pa muffin in blue and white for more layering. There were big white boxes to fill up the space. We had got a white cradle for the twins and put a comfy white blanket on it. The set got completed with ribbons and paper garlands declaring their first birthday.
Coming to Shane and Caiden, they seemed pleased with the arrangement. However, they looked confused when we made them sit on the cradle. We loved that look of bewilderment on their faces and didn't want to miss it. So, here we go, the first shot of these adorable twins for their first birthday.
As we played and talked to the kids, they eased more. They checked out our studio. We thought it would be good to allow them to sit on the floor and take a simple snap.
The second photo of the album is taken on the same set, without the props. We focused on the kids and wanted our viewers also to do the same. When Shane and Caiden grow up, will they pull each other's legs for these expressions? Maybe they will make fun of the snaps and then laugh together at their childhood memories. As twins, we are sure they will always make great friends and have each other's back.

## **First birthday photo album of twins**
We had a great time bonding over the camera and photos. The parents were happy with the shoot. Shane and Caiden enjoyed it too. Their parents informed us that they both enjoy taking a bath. That gave us the idea for the third shot. It was not tough for us to decorate the tub. The bathroom was ready to welcome the babies with bubble-printed background and bright yellow paper ducklings.
The twins were excited to get into the tub. They splashed water, played with the toys, and happily posed for us. We got ducklings for them too. The kids didn't give us any trouble in shooting their photos. We got some lovely shots of them and chose the best one to include in their first birthday cake smash photo album.
The photoshoot came to an end. We were sad to bid goodbye to Shane and Caiden. We had become good friends and enjoyed their company.
We hope Shane and Caiden grow up fast. When they see their photos, will they remember us? However, we are sure the onlookers will love to see their childhood photos and appreciate how close these kids were. Having a sibling is a blessing, and when you have a twin brother, it's a double whammy. Let's wish Shane and Caiden for their future and hope that they come back to us for more such photoshoots.
