# Twins happiness in our studio – newborn photoshoot with the twins Rubi and Rose

A few days back, I received a call for a newborn photo shoot. I receive such calls regularly but what made this one special was it involved not a single child but a twin. As you can guess, filming twins is an exciting assignment. I started planning the session and decided to talk to the father to learn more about them.
Since most parents are apprehensive about newborn photoshoots, I always make it a point to let them know the precautions I take while shooting with babies. This time also I did the same and assured him that the precious ones would be completely safe in my studio. I enquired a little bit about the twins to plan the shoot. Rubi and Rose weighed around 750-800 gm. They had been in the NICU for over 3.5 months. Thankfully, they are doing fine now. Of course, this calls for a grand photoshoot, and I decided to give my best.

I wanted to create a striking impression in the opening shot, and hence chose two dark green swaddles, one had a strip of embroidery on it. When I took this photo, both the girls were fast asleep. So, it was easy to prepare them with the floral headbands. I filled the tub with a green blanket with golden sequins for a glittery effect. The kids slept peacefully with a faint smile on their lips as I finalised the shot.

As I was getting ready for the next shot, one of the babies woke up. I seized the opportunity and planned more drama in the snap. I had already arranged for two swaddles, one blue and another yellow. I created the customary moon shot with Rubi and Rose by using a yellow moon crescent against a star-studded dark blue sky. The babies looked cute with the contrasting headbands. However, what made the picture drool-worthy was the expression on their faces. It's so hard to not smile when you see this picture.

I think Rubi and Rose felt tired and went to sleep. They made the task easier for me. I changed them into burgundy and rust-colored swaddles. For a change, I got a carpet with a heart-shaped dent and made the two siblings lie in it. They wore matching headbands. To make the shot livelier, I added a few orchids. This is one of the best newborn shots I have ever taken.

Babies are like angels, and I love to create fairy sequences with them. So, I prepared Rubi and Rose for the final shot of the album with much care and love. You can see them on a white swing, wearing fluffy dresses and floral headgear. The branches with flowers and leaves broke the monotony of the shot. Again, at the last moment, Rubi opened her eyes and smiled at me while Rose was in deep slumber. The naughty expression on her face made the photo extra cute

I was happy and relieved that the shoot ended on time. The kids seemed happy too. The album came out very well, and I hope Rubi and Rose would love to watch themselves as tiny tots.
